Theatrical Lighting
Arguably the most cost effective way to change a space is through the use of lighting. Too often when people think of lighting, they think of simply eliminating darkness. The use of theatrical lighting allows for so much more. By using shadows and texture the look, feel, and mood of a room can be completely transformed. Yet another great aspect of lighting is layering. Once you have a base layer of image and texture you can then add layers of color with the use of LED or tungsten lighting for wall washes and uplighting. From there you can use lighting fixtures as decor pieces as well. Custom made chandeliers, crystal chandeliers, and paper lanterns are all wonderful ways to provide functional lighting and decor pieces. Lastly, you can use floor lamps and table lamps to add yet another layer of lighting to a space. With every layer of lighting your event takes on more depth and beauty.
